Tommy Bourn Trucking has been in business since Tommy purchased his first truck (pictured to the right) and trailer. Because of superior customer service, safe operating, and fair pricing, TBT has grown with trucks and is still growing with each year that passes.
Specialized equipment means getting the job done for our customers. TBT was the first in the southern United States (might be Louisiana or specific area) to get freight done for our customers covered wagon to better assist their customers that require a temperature controlled mode of transport. The company design shows they are capable of hauling incredibly large and heavy freight.
The family owned and operated company began when Tommy purchased his first truck at just 19 years old. Since then, TBT has grown from that single truck into a respected fleet serving over 100 different customers throughout the southern United States.

At Tommy Bourn Trucking, we are committed to hiring only experienced drivers with excellent driving records. Our drivers are the best and most experienced in the business, with most having 15+ years of driving experience.
All drivers must have multiple years of verifiable employment being CDI certified and pass an intensive three-day training course before being employed with TBT.
All drivers are in constant contact with home base, allowing our dispatcher to get in touch with our driver at any point to check on the status of your load.

Our primary objective is to serve paper mills and roll service facilities within the paper industry. With over two decades of experience in the industry, serving over 100 different customers, if you are in the southern United States, it is likely TBT has served you.
The Tommy Bourn fleet includes a heated, covered thirteen-axle trailer; heated, five-axle trailers; three-axle tractors; drop deck trailers; and four-axle tractors equipped with roll stands, and soft saddle stands are available upon request.
In addition to our own equipment, we also subcontract with other drivers owned by Lone Star Transportation. Lone Star's specialized transportation equipment is U.S. specifically way haul to transport the maximum load permissible by state regulations. Lone Star is a partnership with our company which allows us to better serve our customers.
